RAIL KAHANI

To have a good look at the grand railway network in Pakistan and India, Raza Ali Abidi, a BBC producer traveled from Quetta to Calcutta by all sorts of trains.

Later he produced a radio documentary named 'Rail Kahani'. Here you can listen to all the 16 episodes of the radio programme.

  1. Shukriya Janaab Afzal Usmani Saheb for shring the link on AMU Network. I immediately tuned to "Rail Kahani" and found it very interesting and entertaining. Apart from the beautiful narration by Raza Ali Abidi Saheb, I also found the interviews with ordinary people full of insight. The sounds of railway stations brought back nice memories of my childhood. Thanks for sharing these experiences.
