To have a good look at the grand railway network in Pakistan and India, Raza Ali Abidi, a BBC producer traveled from Quetta to Calcutta by all sorts of trains.
Later he produced a radio documentary named 'Rail Kahani'. Here you can listen to all the 16 episodes of the radio programme.
Shukriya Janaab Afzal Usmani Saheb for shring the link on AMU Network. I immediately tuned to "Rail Kahani" and found it very interesting and entertaining. Apart from the beautiful narration by Raza Ali Abidi Saheb, I also found the interviews with ordinary people full of insight. The sounds of railway stations brought back nice memories of my childhood. Thanks for sharing these experiences.
